It is an organization In India, under the supervision of Samastha Kerala Jam-iyyathul Ulama (Muslim Scholars Organization in Kerala since 1926) and All India Sunni Jam-iyyathul Ulama. Muslim Jamaath is be the apex body of all Muslim Organizations in India. The origin of the term ''Jamaath'' is from the Arabic: جماعتِ (meaning assembly). It also refers to the group of Muslim communities in a village, mainly for the development and welfare of Muslims in that area. They have a common Juma Mazjid in which they get together for their daily and weekly prayers. They have a common cemetery also.
